Cyber.bet Summary
Cyber.bet is a relatively small esports site that is still quite new in the market. Given the massive number of sites where you can sign up and place bets on esports these days, you naturally have to wonder what makes Cyber.bet worth a visit. Whilst they don’t offer odds on that many games, they do manage to give us a broad range of markets for these games and they have good opportunities for live betting as well.
Sure, Cyber.bet doesn’t quite manage to stand out from the crowd. But they are solely focussed on esports, which is worth something in a world that tries to cater to everyone, often adding traditional sports betting and even casino games to their portfolio. You won’t have to bother with any of that here. So, if you are an esports betting purist, you might want to check out Cyber.bet.
Pros and Cons
- Competitive odds for esports betting
- Wide range of markets
- Solid welcome offer
- Sole focus on esports
- Good live coverage
- Dated website design
- Missing some popular esports games
- No live chat
Interface and Usability
Granted, Cyber.bet is still a new outfit, barely two years old. But it doesn’t need to look as if it was designed by a 2-year old. Somehow it manages to do just that. The user interface is easy enough to use, though finding live betting markets can be a bit of a headache. Navigation is intuitive and you can’t really get lost here because the offers are limited on the whole.
But the glaring white background, bright blue header and mostly yellow highlights here and there are just not what most of us are going for. The majority of esports sites we review keep things dark, which looks classic and classy, modern and neat. Cyber.bet just looks as if they don’t know who they are yet and what they want to be when they grow up. Hopefully, that will change in the near future.
By the way, the mobile site is slightly better organised, though the colours are no less garish.
Esports Betting Offer
So, the games you can bet on and that Cyber.bet offers markets for can be found on the left-hand side with their little icons. The number beneath shows us how many matches are currently available. If you hover over the icons, you’ll see the name of the game. Easy enough, but when you need to scroll down, it’s a bit problematic. At least, you’ll easily be able to see whether there are opportunities for you to bet on or not.
At the time of our review, we found betting options for:
- Counter Strike
- DOTA 2
- League of Legends
- Rainbow Six
- Starcraft II
CS:GO had by far the most matches and markets available, indicating that Cyber.bet is probably a great address if you are a Counter Strike fan.
Beyond that, you’ll also find betting options for Overwatch, Call of Duty, Hearthstone, Rocket League, NBA 2K, PUBG, Apex Legends, Fortnite and FIFA. Keep in mind that there were no markets available for these sports when we wrote this review. Also, you will notice a few popular esports missing here.
Types of Bets
Cyber.bet does make it easy to be on your favourite esports and team. Simply click on the sport, find the match you want to be on in the list and check the available markets in the drop-down menu. Often, you’ll find at least three or four markets to bet on, but easily nine, ten or even eleven. That’s really good and offers plenty of variety in betting.
Of course, you can place single bets and outright bets, choose the match winner or various map bets. Combination bets are also available, and we’ve already mentioned that you can bet live on the matches as well.
Additionally, you should check out the tournaments section, where you can bet on popular tournaments that are coming up.
Slots and Casino Games
As already mentioned, Cyber.bet focuses on esports. They don’t offer any slots, instant win games, scratch cards or even arcade games. That’s not a bother at all, however, as plenty of esports betting fans prefer it that way.
They do, however, offer betting on Football (or soccer if you prefer). At the time of our review, no football matches were displayed since no league was playing due to the corona crisis. But we were able to check out the results page and there it would appear that Cyber.bet focuses on local teams rather than the big leagues as all results were for smaller teams and matches and not the big ones.
Bonuses and Promotions
You’ll have to head on over to the “Community” section to find promotional offers. Special promotions may be available for a short period for big events. But these are mostly reload bonuses or free bets.
There is a new welcome offer, which now gives new players a €50 match bonus for a minimum deposit of €50. That means, new players depositing less won’t be able to claim this bonus and, by the looks of it, if you deposit more than that, you’ll still only get the €50 bonus.
The bonus amount needs to be wagered 5x on odds of at least 1.75, which is not too bad. The bonus conditions do sound a little confusing, however, so read them carefully. And that’s about it for the time being.
Payment Methods and Support
Cyber.bet doesn’t provide a separate page on payment methods and as such, you’ll need to open an account and visit the cashier to find out exactly which payment options you have. According to the website, you should be able to deposit via Visa, MasterCard, Neteller, Skrill, Qiwi, Yandex, AstroPay, Jeton and WebMoney. This may differ between regions, however.
The maximum possible withdrawal per transaction is limited to €5,000 (according to the terms and conditions).
If you have questions regarding the site, their services or anything else, your only option to contact the customer service at Cyber.bet is email. You can certainly try Twitter if you like, but email is probably your safest bet. A live chat is not available, which is a shame. It also doesn’t help that the FAQ merely opens up to a PDF file that explains what a bet slip is.
The customer service does appear to be an area that could be improved.
About Cyber.bet
Cyber.bet has been around since 2018 and is owned by Ice Gaming N.V., who are licensed in Curacao. With their focus squarely on esports, there is not much that will otherwise distract you, which can be a good thing.
Cyber.bet appears to provide a safe platform for esports betting and has some good options for enthusiasts. You can consider it an up-and-coming esports platform. They are certainly not lacking enthusiasm either. They do have some way to go to bring us a great esports experience, but it’s not as if they are doing anything inherently wrong.
They are off to a decent start and you might as well give them a try, especially if you don’t need distractions from casino games or other types of sports betting.
