Unikrn was founded in 2014 by Rahul Sood and Karl Flores, both big names in the industry even now. Through various crowdfunding programs, Unikrn managed to establish itself in the following years to become what it is now. Even Ashton Kutcher and Mark Cuban are part of the investment team at Unikrn.

In the past, Unikrn worked with Luxbet (Tabcorp Holdings) from Australia, who handled everything related to their bookmaking activities. That does not seem to be the case any longer, however.

The company now simply exists as Unikrn Limited and appears to be free of associations beyond that. That has likely freed them up to be available in more countries these days. They are licensed through the Isle of Man, which oversees all betting and gambling activities.
