The day has finally come! We are gonna see who is to be crowned the world champion in League of Legends. Will it be SK Telecom T1 from Korea or the Chinese team Royal Club? I already have a big bet on SK Telecom T1 as winners at about 2.00 in odds, so I will be rooting for them, both for monetary reasons and since I have been a SKT1 fan since Broodwar. I am gonna be rocking my T1 shirt today for sure.
The betting odds for this final has been up since the semifinals were concluded, and SKT1 are considered the big favorites with 1.60 odds at Datbet. Pinnacle agrees with their sentiment and has set the odds about the same at 1.56. Royal Club gives you a higher return of 2.40 at Datbet and 2.46 at Pinnacle. These odds are very close to fair in my opinion. I still off course think that SKT1, led by Faker, will come out victorious, but Royal Club are not down and out untill all the games have been played!
We have seens SK Telecom T1 play a lot more during this tournament than Royal Club, since they had to go through the group stages. They started off a little rocky, but has since fallen in to a great rythm and has cruised forward to the finals. Royal Club dominated the laning phases against Fnatic, but how will they venture against the tough laners from Korea? I believe that they are gonna have a tougher time with that, especially in mid and bot.
Watching these two aggressive teams duke it out is gonna be fun nevertheles, so I am looking forward to the conclusion. It has been an ok series betting wise. Had some sour losses, and some wins, so overall I am a little up betting on this tournament. If SKT1 wins, I will net a decent surplus and be satisfied with how things have gone down!
