100 Thieves vs Immortals
To close out the week, we have what can rightfully be deemed as the least interesting and engaging clash yet: 100 Thieves vs. Immortals. A fight between two 0-3 teams simply cannot deliver in any way, shape, or form, but at least it shouldn't be too hard to predict.
Both challengers failed to impress in their first three games of the split, but 100 Thieves have to be the more egregious offender as people actually expected them to look like a playoff-worthy contender. Right now, however, they're anything but. Immortals have one of the most underwhelming line-ups in the region so the fact that they look downright abysmal isn't overly surprising.
Still, when we have two underperforming, sub-par teams clashing, we have to side with the one with more experience and mental fortitude and that, without a doubt, is 100 Thieves. Granted, they didn't showcase such virtues over the last two weeks, but we know it's there. Why they've regressed so darn much in such a short period of time is anyone's guess, but knowing their coaching staff (and multiple seasoned veterans), they should start picking up the pace over the coming weeks, much like they did in Spring.
If Immortals decide to start with Xmithie, this could be a lot more competitive than people expect, but seeing how that probably won't happen, we can expect a fairly one-sided, fiesta-like affair that's should, by all means, end in 100 Thieves' favor.
