Boston Uprising vs Seoul Dynasty

For our third match of the day we have an exciting clash between the Boston Uprising and the Seoul Dynasty. As unexpected as it might seem these two teams are on somewhat opposite paths right now. Boston is looking to solidify their playoffs ticket any day now (with five wins and zero losses so far) whereas Seoul is struggling to even stay relevant in the midst of all Western teams stepping up considerably.

It's realistic to say that Seoul doesn't have any chance of reaching the playoffs with the state they're currently in, and to make matters even more complicated they're up against the Fusion and New York next week - two matches that they could by all means lose. Week five is no easier as they have London and the Houston Outlaws so in the absolute worst case scenario Seoul could go winless over the next two weeks if they fail to adapt and come out with something new and refreshing.

Even though they didn't look that good over the last couple of weeks it still feels strange betting against Seoul. The pedigree that they have, the incredible depth of talent within their roster and the respected coaching staff on top of it make them a dangerous adversary regardless of the context and meta. That said, Boston's current spotless run is nothing short of a miracle and they deserve every single bit of it. They had a very tough strength of schedule and they have what it takes to take down Seoul and in doing so defeat all three Korean giants. (3-2 against New York and 3-2 against London two days ago) It's a tall task and they're on the brink of doing it and it wouldn't be wrong to say that they're passed the toughest part - New York. Even when they have their backs against the wall they always find a way to stay relevant and the sheer amount of mental fortitude and resilience that is necessary to come back from an 0-2 deficit and reverse sweep when everything is against you is downright insane and worthy of the highest praise.

They're looking like the absolute best Western team at the moment and they're all playing some of the best Overwatch that you will see this season. Every single member is stepping up at the right time and even though they have a "newcomer" in the roster in Mistakes not only is he playing on an incredibly high level but he also proved to be more than up to the task when facing the absolute best teams in the League. (his last second Sombra hold on Oasis against London servers as a prime example)

While Seoul absolutely has the tools to make this a highly competitive five map series they're going to fight an uphill battle. If Boston was able to bounce back and reverse sweep New York in such spectacular fashion they're more than up to the task of taking down the Dynasty.
