Cloud9 vs FlyQuest

To close out the day, we have yet another fascinating clash between two top-tier challengers: Cloud9 and FlyQuest. Now, while the boys in black and blue certainly have the upper hand, it's downright impossible to count FlyQuest out after witnessing their one-sided shellacking over Team Dignitas on Monday.

But first, let's focus on the perennial LCS titans Cloud9. To say that they're playing some exceptional League of Legends would truly be an understatement. They're currently the best and most dangerous team in the LCS, and their spotless record tells the same tale. It's not just about wins and losses, but rather the fashion in which they get the job done, and the dominance that's on display whenever they step foot on the Summoner's Rift.

They're playing like a well-oiled machine and have looked spectacular in their first four outings. They're aggressive, in sync, and each member of their line-up is carrying his fair share of the weight. Blaber is constantly pressuring across the map, and Zven and Vulcan have been wrecking house game after game as well. In fact, the former LEC champion is having a renaissance of sorts -- he's been dishing out insane amounts of damage and has yet to die even after four games. But no one individual is pushing this Cloud9 roster over the finish line; instead, they're winning as a team, and watching them compete is an absolute treat.

FlyQuest, to their credit, are insanely good as well, which really did come as a surprise. They were undervalued and underappreciated coming into the split, but no one could have foreseen them being this dangerous early on into the split. They're not without fault as their play often leaves a lot to be desired. But they have an identity and they're playing as a team, with each member posing a solid threat. Santorin is definitely having a resurgence and the same can be said for the majority of their roster as well. PowerOfEvil and Ignar truly reinvigorated FlyQuest, and it's evident every time they spawn on the Summoner's Rift.

In the end, however, we have to side with Cloud9. They've shown more, they've been a lot more dominant and have yet to display any concrete weakness. Whether or not they'll maintain such a stellar level of play remains to be seen, but they definitely have all the right tools to get the win against FlyQuest.
