Dallas Fuel vs Los Angeles Gladiators

This one's an absolute nightmare from a betting perspective. A clash between the second- and third-best teams the Overwatch League has to offer. What's not to like? If things pan out as expected, this one will not only go the distance but it may also end up being one of the most competitive and entertaining clashes we've seen yet!

There's much talent between these two teams it doesn't even make sense. They can really do it all and compete at the highest of levels, and even though they're still not particularly consistent, they more than make up for it in sheer grit and determination. The Dallas Fuel have been a bit more successful, but by no means is the gap between them and the Gladiators insurmountable. In fact, they're separated by the slimmest margins imaginable, and that, too, was evident the last time they clash off -- it was a 3-2 barnburner that eventually went Dallas' way.

They're neck-and-neck in more ways than one and, if they come out the gates swinging, they'll no doubt put on one heck of a show. Who'll come out ahead, however, still remains to be seen. We're leaning more towards Dallas (and so are the oddsmakers) but we're also quite wary of a potential upset. The Gladiators are hungry and are motivated beyond measure. They want revenge and have styled over the vast majority of their opponents -- their immense momentum has been earned in sweat and "blood" and they want to harness it fully and "get one back" on Dallas.

Then again, much of the same can be said for the Fuel as well. They've won a whopping fifteen maps in a row. Let that number sink in as it is truly mind-blowing. A good chunk of them, granted, came at the expense of mid-tier gatekeepers and shoddy bottom-feeders, but the point stands nonetheless. Their reverse sweep against the Gladiators was also a most fascinating one -- if they could find the fortitude and resilience to claw their way back three or so weeks ago, who's to say that they couldn't do it again, should the need arise?

It'll be a game of inches, that's for sure. We'll side with Dallas but by no means will it be lopsided.
