Dallas Fuel vs Toronto Defiant

This is where things get ever so slightly less stressful — the Dallas Fuel are, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the most capable teams in the Overwatch League, and their current record proves it as well. They're not perfect, mind you, but they *have* done enough to warrant our benefit of the doubt, and are bound to further grow and evolve as the weeks go by.

A similar sentiment can be made for Toronto as well, but they're not as stacked talent- and player-wise as Dallas, and that, in short, is definitely going to end up being the difference-maker. The meta is still as flexible as ever so don't expect a blowout, but the Fuel *are* favored, and there's a very good reason as to why that's so.

Dallas have thus far played three times and have won two of those three outings. Their sole defeat came at the hands of the Houston Texas which, in all fairness, was quite an upset. The fact that it was a 3-0 also took us all by surprise. Fortunately, the Fuel were quick to rebound with a stellar 3-2 showing against the Los Angeles Gladiators, after which they steamrolled through Washington Justice without dropping even a single map. They're obviously talented and capable beyond measure, but just need a bit more time to get on the same page and figure out how they want to play things out as a unit.

Toronto, on the other hand, have been both hot and cold. They first lost to the Washington Justice (1-3) but quickly bounced back with a stellar win over the Outlaws (3-2) and a one-sided shellacking of Paris Eternal (3-0). Saying just how good they really are feels nigh impossible. In any case, they're a very capable bunch and have a fair bit of potential as well, but they're *not* on the same level as Dallas — that much is clear and obvious.

That doesn't mean they won't be able to trade blows but rather that, once the dust settles, they'll almost surely *not* be the last ones standing. In any case, expect a barnburner that might even go the five-map distance!
