DRX vs FlyQuest

Yet another insanely exciting clash between the LCK's second seed DRX and the second-best team from North America FlyQuest. Now, granted, this *can* be deemed as somewhat a mismatch, but if you know anything about FlyQuest, you're well aware that they not only prefer a substantial challenge, but also that they never go down without a fight. In fact, even if they're losing, they'll fight their hearts out every step of the way in an attempt to deal as much damage as possible.

They know they're the underdogs. They're well aware of the fact, in no small part because everyone's been saying it ever since they were slotted into group D with Top Esports and DRX. Still, they don't care much, and they're playing as if they simply didn't get the memo. They knew they'd face an uphill battle from the moment they reached Shanghai, and that's certainly proving to be the case. So far, they're sitting on a pretty comfortable (and respectable) 1W-1L record, although this one game against DRX can be considered as "do or die." They're basically fighting for second place in their group, and getting a win over DRX would go a long way in empowering their chances. In other words, if they intend on reaching the Knockout Stage, they have to pull off an upset right here and right now. They don't have the tools to fight against Top Esports, but DRX is far from infallible.

Still, getting a win over the second best team from Korea is always a tall order, regardless of whom we're talking about. FlyQuest -- while insanely talented -- have many distinct weaknesses, one of which was heavily exploited yesterday by the Unicorns of Love. Solo simply doesn't have the tools to compete at the highest of levels, and his questionable champion pool and early game effectiveness are quite suspect, to say the least. Throughout the entire game he held nearly all of his team's deaths, and while he was definitely doing damage in team fights, he was still a detriment to his teammates and made the game far harder than it should've been. Had PowerOfEvil not played out of his mind, FlyQuest would've lost. It was a hard-earned victory, and seeing how it nearly went the other way, it's hard to be optimistic about FlyQuest's chances going forward.

DRX, on the other hand, are stacked with talent. Heck, Chovy and Deft are all they need to get the win against the vast majority of teams currently competing at Worlds. They're playing some exceptional League of Legends, and while they're not as good as some of their peers from the LPL (or DAMWON, for that matter), they're still more than capable enough to fend off challengers like FlyQuest, given that they draft and execute as well as they can.

Either way, expect a chaotic, skirmish-heavy game that's bound to entertain. FlyQuest definitely have a puncher's chance, but the odds are stacked against them, and there's a very good reason why that's the case.
