DRX vs Unicorns of Love

The Unicorns of Love have quite a hard day ahead of them. First, they have to compete against Top Esports -- one of the biggest tournament favorites and arguably one of the best teams that has ever stepped foot on the Worlds stage. Then, after that whole ordeal is done and dusted, they're supposed to face DRX, the second best team from Korea. Granted, DRX isn't exactly on Top's level, but they're still exceptional at the game and are, of course, an astronomical favorite coming into their match with the LCL champions.

That, in short, is not how any team wants to start the day off. Fighting just one of these two giants is more than enough punishment. Both games are, of course, nigh impossible to win, and the Unicorns know this as well. They're not pretending like they have any semblance of a chance, but that's also a positive thing. Their backs are against the wall and there's absolutely no pressure whatsoever. No one's expecting much and the sheer fact that they even made it to the Group Stage is a cause for celebration and commendation. Being in the Top 16 teams in the world is nothing to scoff at, and even if they exit Worlds with a 0W-6L record tomorrow, they still have more than enough reasons to keep their heads high.

DRX, while definitely favored, are far from infallible. There's no telling how they'll approach this game. On the one hand, they're in dire need of a win if they intend on challenging Top Esports for the number one spot in the group. On the other, maybe they're looking to play on auto-pilot and take a breather before facing Top Esports themselves. There's not telling what'll happen in that regard, and seeing how the Unicorns are far better than most people give them credit for, we should be in for one heck of a ride. Both teams will surely fight from the moment they step foot on stage to compete, and while DRX is almost guaranteed to make it out with the win, their path to victory probably won't be as clear-cut and one-sided as most people expect.
