FlyQuest vs CLG

Finally, to close out the day, we have what can only be described as one-sided shellacking in the making: FlyQuest vs. CLG. There's very little reason to tune in to this one, unless you're especially interested in seeing CLG lose in emphatic fashion, for whatever reason. FlyQuest is simply better in every way, shape, and form, and their recent win streak and level of play attest to the fact.

They are, without a doubt, one of the best teams in the region, and they've done more than enough to warrant everyone's benefit of the doubt. This is, for all intents in purposes, a clash between a top-tier challenger and a bottom-tier dweller. There's simply no other way to put it. By getting a win here, FlyQuest can further solidify their spot in the Top 4 and potentially even tie with Team SoloMid, should the perennial LCS giants lose to Team Liquid tomorrow. Seeing how they have a positive 2-0 head to head record against TSM, they could, at best, lock in third place if they play their cards right (and have a bit of luck as well). To say that they've been playing out of their minds recently would truly be an understatement.

Counter Logic Gaming, on the other hand, have decided to bench their their biggest catalyst (Pobelter) in an attempt to correct course. In short, this is one of the worst roster changes in recent LCS history. Truly counter logic. To bench the only player who's been performing well is a decision that makes no sense whatsoever. Then again, CLG always find a way to disappoint, even when we think that's no longer a possibility. Without the former LCS champion by their side, there's simply nothing positive that can be said about this team or their recent performances. For CLG to reclaim even a fraction of their long-lost glory, they'll have to go for a complete roster overhaul, and that includes their lacking coaching staff as well. This team is mismanaged and is underwhelming across the board.

Obviously, we're siding with FlyQuest on this one as it's the only logical choice.
