FlyQuest vs Cloud9

A fight between Cloud9 and FlyQuest might not seem all that enticing, but in actuality, it'll almost surely deliver in all the right ways. We're talking about two teams that love to skirmish, and they also have a reason to tryhard as well. So what's not to like? And yes — there's quite a large gap between them, but that doesn't mean entertainment will be absent. On the contrary!

Cloud9 want to have as dominant a win as possible — you can never have too much momentum coming into the playoffs, and beating FlyQuest in emphatic fashion would only further strengthen their (already flourishing) narrative. They don't *have* to win, so they'll probably play without reserve. That, in turn, should result in quite a dangerous shade of Cloud9. FlyQuest, on the other hand, need to put on a show if they intend on reaching the playoffs. The odds are stacked against them, and they're not favored to accomplish much, but that doesn't mean they won't try. They're a feisty bunch and even though they haven't been performing all that well lately, they still deserve a fair bit of praise. When they get on the same page and perform to the best of their ability, they're quite a dangerous opponent. Unfortunately, those moments are few and far between.

Still, with time they'll undoubtedly grow into a respectable mid-tier contender. Right now, however, they're far from being able to challenge the best and most successful team in North America. Cloud9 are favored and there's a good reason why. They might not blow FlyQuest out of the water, but they should definitely be able to get the win once all is said and done. Either way, we should be in for one heck of a ride!
