Fnatic vs SK Telecom T1
For our third match of the day we have a rather fascinating clash between the LCK champions SKT T1 and Europe's second seed Fnatic. Now, on paper, this is a must-watch. In reality, however, things are considerably different.
SKT T1 has already secured a spot in the Knockout Stage, whereas Fnatic need to win every single game going forward if they want to stand a chance of getting out of groups. The problem is, they've done nothing to earn our benefit of the doubt, and even their most recent win over Clutch Gaming was too close for comfort. It was decided by the slimmest of margins and if they couldn't beat Clutch in one-sided fashion, how can anyone expect them to clash off against one of the best teams in the history of the game?
SKT is sitting on a spotless 4W-0L record and even though they're far from perfect, they have all the right tools to improve to five wins and lock down the number one spot in their group. Even if Fnatic improve leaps and bounds they'll still face an uphill battle, as the LCK champions have no intent on fooling around.
