G2 Esports vs SK Gaming

A clash between G2 Esports and SK Gaming simply isn't hype-inducing, and that's okay — not every match has to deliver in equal measure. Games like these (quick and one-sided) can also entertain in their own unique way. Let's not beat around the bush: G2 Esports are favored, and it's easy to understand why. They're better in every way, shape, and form, and -- barring any unforeseen twist or experimental draft -- they shouldn't have any trouble in taking SK Gaming down. A sub-thirty minute win is in the cards, and it matters very little what SK Gaming will draft, or how well they've prepared for today's match.

There's no betting against G2 at this point in time. Heck, betting against them at *any* point in time is ill-advised, but now that they have Rekkles aboard as well, we'd be pretty darn insane to side with SK. So, a one-sided beatdown is all but guaranteed, but if SK's recent level of play is any indication, things might get a bit more competitive (and therefore entertaining) than most people expect. They're five relatively inexperienced players but they've shown no hesitation or fear yesterday, and they've nothing to lose against a team as revered and dangerous as G2 — so they might as well throw caution out the window and start swinging for the fences. They probably won't accomplish much, but at least it'll be an entertaining scrap. That's the only thing we're hoping for, basically.

At the very least, it'll be interesting to see how well they can perform against a team of G2's caliber. In any case, we should be in for a relatively quick and skirmish-heavy game, so there's definitely a reason to tune in!
