Gen.G spent the last five matches with the same opponents. The team defeated Dignitas twice 2-0, but was defeated three times by MIBR.

In the latter case, when the Americans met with the Brazilians, they failed the starting map, and on Mirage they fought and transferred the game to overtime, but they failed to achieve success. Thus, Gen.G got into the playoffs from the second line of the table, gaining six points.

Cloud9 are in the world ranking significantly lower than their rivals, however, they also showed powerful performance in this tournament. The team lost only to Envy (1: 2) and HAVU (0: 2), but in meetings with Orgless (2: 1) and Copenhagen Flames (2: 0) they celebrated success. Note that the "clouds" are great on Overpass and Dust2 cards, where they have 70 and 75 percent win rates, respectively.
