Immortals vs Cloud9

Cloud9 is in a league of their own. There's just no other way to put it. They're the best and most dominant team North America ever fostered, and the fact that they're three-fifths native makes their triumphant run that much more impressive. Their Summer Split has so far been darn near perfect, and if things pan out as expected, they're bound to once again run circles around their opposition and hoist the LCS trophy for the second time in 2020.

That's the only logical conclusion one can make after watching them compete.

This time around, they're up against Immortals, a team that was barely able to get its first win yesterday. It wasn't a clean showing -- as was expected -- but it did end on a positive note. IMT desperately needed to correct course, and fortunately, such a turn of fate came in the nick of time. Still, even with their Academy roster starting (with three LCS veterans), they're obviously one of the worst teams in the entire region. They're just not that good, neither individually nor as a five-man unit, and they'll have their hands full against a team of Cloud9's caliber.

This is quite literally a David vs. Goliath kind of clash, and it's also a match in which David will not be able to upset. There's just no way whatsoever -- Cloud9 is better in every sense of the word, and is bound to get the win in relatively easy and one-sided fashion.
