LNG Esports vs Oh My God

With OMG losing to FPX yesterday, their odds of making playoffs have now been eradicated. They still have a shot mathematically speaking, but given whom they're about to face, they'll really have to work miracles in order to pull it all off. And, well, we wouldn't hold our breath for it to happen. They're a good team, perhaps even great at times, but the gap between them and the rest of their higher-ranked peers is simply far too big.

LNG Esports are by no means flawless or infallible, but they *are* stacked from head to toe and are astonishingly capable whenever they get on the same page and play towards a singular goal. Their line-up is absolutely mind-blowing: Ale, Tarzan, Doinb, Light, LvMao. What a spectacular team, one that will only get better and better as time goes on. Still, the LPL is packed with such capable contenders, which is why LNG have only been able to secure sixth place. That's not exactly a sensational result given who's playing under their banner, but underwhelming it certainly is not. And, well, they're just one win below teams ranked second through fifth, so it's not like they're *that* much worse (if worse at all). We're certain that they'll blossom beyond measure once those incredible Best of 5s come around and their staggering experience starts to come in clutch.

OMG, unfortunately, don't stand much of a chance. They're feisty and perhaps even a bit better than most folks want to give them credit for, but their talents (respectable though they are) simply aren't enough for them to rub shoulders with true LPL royalty. But they sure did come close, and they deserve a bit of credit for it.

In any case, betting on LNG here simply makes the most sense, and it's easy to understand why.
