London Spitfire vs Dallas Fuel

To start things off, we have a clash no one's all too excited about: Dallas Fuel vs. London Spitfire. Why, you might ask? Well, the answer is rather simple: this is about as big a mismatch as it gets. We're talking about a fight between the May Melee champions (Dallas) and a veritable bottom-tier dweller. There's really nothing to get overly excited about, nor anything to truly look forward to. This doesn't mean that top-tier play will be absent, but rather that all of it will come from Dallas, making this one of the most lopsided match-ups of the week.

Regardless, there's definitely a reason to tune in, seeing how we're all dying to see the Fuel back in action. The fashion in which they'd triumphed at the most recent May Melee left no one indifferent. To call it "dominant" wouldn't even begin to cut it. They are truly one of the best and most commanding teams in the Overwatch League right now, and they're poised to once again wreck house at the upcoming June Joust. Whether they'll be able to repeat their success still remains to be seen, but the odds are certainly stacked in their favor.

The Spitfire, on the other hand, did next to nothing ever since the 2021 season began. They don't even have a single win on the board, despite playing six matches thus far. Moreover (as if that wasn't enough), they have the worst map differential out of all competing teams, making them the de facto punching back of the Overwatch League. Will they improve over time? They might, but they still won't be good enough to compete at the highest of levels. A couple of good moments simply aren't enough to warrant anyone's benefit of the doubt, and their dreadful record reflects as much.

They might put up a slightly bigger fight than most people expect, but they should still succumb to Dallas' might in what will surely be a clean 3-0.
