London Spitfire vs Dallas Fuel

This one's a problem. Any match involving the London Spitfire may as well be deemed a veritable "landmine" as there's really no way for anyone to predict what'll happen and who'll come out on top. They're the very definition of a dark horse, and even though they're definitely limited in terms of potential and overall talent, they're nonetheless much stronger than the sum of their parts and are not to be trifled with whatsoever.

You'd never think that they'd be able to rub shoulders with the very best teams the Overwatch League has to offer, and yet they always come out swinging no matter what the oddsmakers have to say about it. They have so often narrowed the gap betwen them and their opponents through sheer willpower and, well, watching them grow and evolve over the last few months has been absolutely tremendous -- a chief delight, no doubt.

Dallas, on the other hand, have been a lot more volatile, with much higher highs and lows that were baffling to the extreme. They're an exceptional team, amongst the very best, in fact, but that isn't always discernible from their play (for whatever reason). It's also been a while since the last time they took down a top-tier opponent (perhaps too long).

Their most recent wins over the New York Excelsior (3-2), Vancouver Titans (3-0), and the Florida Mayhem (3-0), while commendable, simply aren't enough to generate any noticeable amount of hype or momentum. Their losses to San Francisco, Atlanta, and LAG are much more telling, and they happened a mere month ago so they still linger in the back of everyone's minds.

Regardless, the road ahead of Dallas is long and seemingly arduous. Right now, though, they have to deal with a feisty gatekeeper that will tear them limb for limb if they aren't careful. Will they be up to the task? The oddsmakers seem to think so and, well, we can hardly blame them. The odds aren't particularly fair or realistic, though, so just keep that in mind. London are much better than people want to give them credit for and they *will*, by all means, bring the fight to Dallas from the very moment they spawn.
