Los Angeles Gladiators vs Paris Eternal

Yet another inherently lopsided match-up — the kind we're always on the lookout for! The Los Angeles Gladiators might not be in peak form right now, but they're still head and shoulders better than the Paris Eternal who, by all metrics, seem to be the de facto worst team in the entire Overwatch League. And, well, it's been like that since day one — they're the very definition of a bottom-dweller and that's not going to change any time soon.

They're arguably the only team that hasn't evolved much during the course of the season. And, well, they've had many chances to do so. They've been getting smacked around on a weekly basis by pretty much all of their peers, and the Summer Showdown qualifiers haven't been any different in that regard. They were first obliterated by the Washington Justice, then by the Vancouver Titans (an 0-3, no less), followed by the Atlanta Reign. You can also add the Los Angeles Gladiators to that list as well seeing how it's nigh impossible to envision a world in which the Eternal end up winning.

They're just not equipped to compete — it's really that simple. And it's a staggering difference, too; they're nowhere near good enough when compared to the vast majority of their peers and adversaries.

Again: the Gladiators seem to be struggling (to say the least), but they're still in a league of their own and will most certainly be able to prove it, too. Our choice, therefore, is clear: LAG for the win.
