Machi E-Sports vs Suning Gaming

For our second match of the day we have a pretty darn exciting clash between Machi Esports and Suning, the fourth seed from the LPL. Granted, this isn't a premier match-up, nor will it attract hundreds of thousands of roaring fans spread across the globe. That's only reserved for the big organizations and age-old titans -- none of which are schedule to compete this time around. Still, you'd be wise to tune in, as missing out on any Suning action would be quite a foolish mistake.

They're exciting, aggressive, mechanically gifted, and are guaranteed to bring fireworks regardless of whom they're up against. That's pretty much what we're all accustomed to when it comes to LPL teams, and Suning delivers in every sense of the word. They might be inexperienced, but you'd never be able to tell just from watching them flex on the Summoner's Rift. Once they get going, they're force to be reckoned with, and they're so good, in fact, that they nearly even took down G2 in their very first match of the Group Stage. Mere seconds were separating them from getting that oh-so-important win, but it ultimately proved to be elusive.

Their next two games were absolute masterclasses. It was like their loss to G2 started a fire beneath them, and Machi and Liquid were forced to take a beating as a result. And what a beating it was! One-sided in every way, shape, and form. Suning is in sync, and they have some exceptional players competing under their banner -- most notably SofM, a young prodigious jungler who's been getting a ton of praise and hype not only for his pathing but also game-bending plays.

Machi, to their credit, are a talented bunch as well, but they're just not talented *enough.* There's no other, less direct way of phrasing it. Sure, they're aggressive and about as crazy as your average LPL team, but they lack the precision, dedication, and ability to execute -- all key virtues that their LPL peers are graced with almost by default. They're always competitive, but once push comes to shove, they fail to deliver, as is natural for a team that's facing such stiff opposition. The sheer fact that they're even remotely competitive is worthy of praise and commendation. No one gave them much thought coming into Worlds and yet they've done incredibly well -- especially given the odds.

Naturally, we're siding with Suning on this one as it's the only logical option. Machi might make things competitive, but it shouldn't be enough in the end. All of that said, make sure to tune in as it'll be quite a show!
