MAD Lions vs Astralis

MAD Lions vs. Astralis is, for all intents and purposes, a one-sided beatdown in the making. Well, at least if MAD double down on their strengths and execute to the best of their ability. The gap in power and potential between these two teams is about as bit as it gets, so it should come as no surprise that MAD are so heavily favored.

That said, Astralis deserve a fair bit of praise for their recent performances. They are by no means a top-tier behemoth, but they're playing some darn good League of Legends. WhiteKnight and MagiFelix, in particular, have been doing a lot of the heavy lifting, and watching them overdeliver and subvert our expectations has truly been one of the biggest surprises of the split thus far.

Again, they're not going to challenge for the throne or upset the long-established LEC status quo any time soon, but they're not to be trifled with.

MAD, of course, need no introduction. They've done more than enough to earn oir benefit of the doubt and will surely look to get another statement win on the board at Astralis' expense. They're better across the board and everyone knows it, too. In the end, we simply have to side with the defending champions on this one as it's the only logical choice.
