Misfits vs exceL

Who would've thought that *this* match-up would be as exciting as it is? Nothing foretold of such an event, which makes it all the more interesting. Right now, as things stand, both Misfits and EXCEL are on the verge of locking in their playoff spots -- an incredible bit of information, we know. We're as perplexed as everyone else by the fact that this is actually happening. Then again, the LEC gatekeepers are no strangers to defying the odds -- this has happened many a time throughout history, and Misfits and EXCEL definitely fit the bill.

They're playing some incredibly good LoL right now and have beaten teams most folks (rightfully) deemed far more capable and dangerous -- they're wrecking house, in other words, and haven't even hit their peak yet. They're so incredibly similar in regards to their strength and level of play that's were quite wary of having to make any sort of prediction; they're also volatile as well, and saying who's better than whom would pretty much be a wild stab in the dark -- nothing more, nothing less.

We're gonna side with EXCEL here, but we're obviously not all that confident in our prediction seeing how they're basically neck and neck. They have more veterans than Misfits which, while not necessarily as important as it might seem, could definitely come in clutch should things go down to the wire -- and they almost certainly will. These two teams love to skirmish and they'll surely capitalize on each and every opportunity to do so.

The addition of Mikyx has obviously unlocked EXCEL in nuanced but still hugely important ways and his leadership and ability to clutch things out have been vital as of late -- especially against the many LEC giants they've been going up against. They're not favored here, but they've definitely been a bit more consistent than Misfits and could certainly pull off the win.

Patrik has been dominant beyond measure and his teammates have also been wonderful throughout the last few weeks, and if they can harness their inherent potential and not make too many fumbles in the mid and late game, they *should* be able to emerge victorious.
