Misfits vs G2 Esports

There's quite a lot of chaos over in the LEC right now and, needless to say, we're all on the edge of our seats, waiting to see what'll happen and who'll eventually get their proverbial hand raised. The best teams in Europe are truly separated by the slimmest of margins and that, in short, has resulted in some exquisite League of Legends. Fiestas can still happen, of course, but nowhere near as often as it was the case just a few weeks ago.

The standings paint a fairly similar picture as well. We have a bunch of top-tier teams that are all separated by just a single win or, at most, two. It's anyone's game, as they say, and if things pan out as expected, we'll witness an incredible postseason in just a few days — one that is packed to the brim with incredible action and mouth-watering narratives.

Misfits are, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the biggest surprises of the split. After starting off in the worst possible way, they've somehow managed to not only correct course but even trade blows with the very best teams the LEC has to offer. And, frankly, they've looked amazing — and so does their incredible five-game winstreak.

They're tied with G2 as well which speaks volumes about their ability to perform and deliver when the going gets rough. Their play still needs a bit of polish, but they've been winning more often than not so it's really hard to criticize them for anything given their overwhelming amounts of success.

Being tied for second in a league as stacked as the LEC is a tremendous feat. They are, however, scheduled to go up against G2 which, in all fairness, is a challenge unlike any other. They might be a bit inconsistent (and not at all as commanding as they were at the tail end of last split), but they're still a cut above the rest and should definitely be able to prove it, too. That being said, a win is by no means guaranteed, so if you're feeling a bit adventurous, going with Misfits could definitely result in some impressive winnings.
