MVP vs bbq Olivers

The LCK 2019 Spring Promotion is underway and tomorrow the first match of the loser's bracket is going down. The match will be between MVP and bbq Olivers, two teams in absolute atrocious form at the moment. MVP has lost it's last 9 best of 3 matches, while bbq Olivers have lost the last 7 of them.

The last meeting between these two teams came in mid-July where MVP won 2-1, and they also met back in mid-June, where MVP took a 2-0 victory there as well.

Time has passed since that time and patches have been added, but we do not feel much have changed. The teams are still performing badly, in a tough region though, and don't look too great at the moment. MVP is at least trying to shuffle around with their team to amend the issues, swapping in ADD and moving Max to support, trying MaHa at top and so on. Not much have worked.

bbq Olivers on the other hand has tried to stay in the same lineup, but that doesn't seem to be working either.

I feel that the difference between these teams is their history, where MVP has had the upper hand, and the fact that MVP seems to be able to play a far more diverse range of champions. bbq Olivers as their comfort picks they seem to revert back to, like Azir, Braum and Varus. This should let MVP have a shot at banning out champions that should perform well if they start out 0-1 and adjust accordingly.

It will be a close match, but I think MVP has a decent edge that we like a bet on them, even at 1.72 which means there isn't too much value here, but enough to warrant a medium sized bet.
