paiN Gaming vs Istanbul Wild Cats

Finally, we have a battle between the TCL and CBLOL — paiN Gaming vs. fastPay Wildcats. Not exactly the most premier match-up imaginable, but it's still a fun one regardless. Both teams have nothing to fight for other than pride which, depending on the way you look at it, is more than enough to warrant a bit of tryharding. Then again, both teams have just been kicked out of groups which will probably affect their performance. They've failed to leave a mark, but at least they fought valiantly. Not much of a consolation prize, but it's all they're getting, for better or worse. The only question now is: will they muster up the strength for one last game? Will they give it their all and go out "with a bang," or will they play without fervor, now that it's all in vain?

Wildcats have at least surprised us by taking a game off of MAD Lions, but that one triumph, impressive though it is, means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things. PaiN, on the other hand, had really good moments but they were always too few and far between to actually warrant any concrete, tangible amounts of success.

We'll side with the TCL champions on this one as they have a bit more momentum and have had a bit of time to recuperate from their loss to PSG Talon. Then again, even if they *are* better (which is up for debate), they're better by the slimmest of margins. In other words, this game could really go either way, and predicting any sort of outcome with confidence is nigh impossible. Regardless, both teams will surely double down on their strengths and play their hearts out which should, in turn, result in one heck of a game!
