RED Canids vs Hanwha Life Esports
The RED Canids are simply out of luck: they'll will first have to face LNG Esports (a guaranteed loss, pretty much) after which they'll somehow have to muster up the energy to face off against Hanwha Life -- a team that, while not as good as LNG, is still stacked with talent and has all the right tools to outclass the CBLOL champions with ease.
Talk about a grueling schedule!
Be that as it may, they'll at least have a shot in this one if Hanwha's first two outings are anything to go by. The LCK representatives weren't exactly as impressive as we expected, and it's still impossible to know whether that was just a bit of stage freight or something else entirely. In any case, they're quite fallible, and even though they had brilliant moments here and there, their play still left a lot to be desired. They did win against Infinity Esports, but the fashion in which it all transpired definitely didn't instill us with any supreme amount of confidence. In short: Hanwha are probably going to struggle in the Group Stage but are nonetheless well-equipped to reach it. And, who knows, maybe they'll ramp up and improve as time goes on; it's definitely possible.
As for RED, it's just hard to envision a world in which they end up trading blows and actually upsetting. They might put up a much bigger fight than expected, but once all is said and done Hanwha Life are all but guaranteed to get their "hands raised." And, well, it'll be an interesting test for the LCK representatives as well, seeing how they're in dire need of some momentum. Getting a statement win over the CBLOL champions would definitely put them "back on track" hype-wise.
