San Francisco Shock vs Vancouver Titans
Just when we thought that a "lull" was about to take place — a short reprieve from all the chaos, if you will — things have once again taken a U-turn. Altanta have somehow lost to Houston, the Fusion seem to be surging, and much of the same can be said for the Los Angeles Valiant as well. It's a strange time to be an Overwatch League fan although things will, as always, stabilize as we move closer to the tournament itself (i.e. the Midseason Madness).
We are, therefore, now most interested in betting on the biggest, most lopsided mismatches one can imagine. And, well, it doesn't get any more lopsided than this. The San Francisco Shock -- a team that is yet to drop a game in the regular season -- taking on one of the absolute worst and least capable bottom-dwellers the Overwatch League has to offer.
It's not an exciting match-up, but it *is* one whose outcome is easy to predict. And that, amidst all the chaos, is exactly what we're looking for -- an "easy win," if you will. Now, we love a good old scrap as much as everyone, but putting our money on the line and seeing it evaporate in a split second isn't what we would deem as entertaining. And so until things settle down, we'll mostly focus on these imbalanced affairs, on match-ups most folks won't even tune in to.
The gap between the San Francisco Shock and the Vancouver Titans is so big and vast and insurmountable one would have every right to call it a canyon.
