Seoul Dynasty vs Philadelphia Fusion

The Summer Showdown tournament has, thus far, been quite a crazy ride, and we mean that in the best possible sense! Surprisingly, though, there haven't been any real upsets which is a stark contrast to the last few weeks of the regular season. That's a very good thing, as far as we're concerned, but it's still a strange shift, all things considered. The move over to LAN hasn't affected anyone all that much and we, for one, couldn't be happier for that being the case.

Well, the San Francisco Shock *have* regressed quite a bit, but that was to be expected given their recent (and most noticeable) decline. The Eastern region is *still* the home to some of the craziest, most competitive clashes you'll ever lay your eyes on. Some of them *are* lopsided blowouts, sure, but it's still so hard to fully grasp what's really happening and predict how things will eventually shake out, so there's a lot of uncertainty in the air as well — something that only further elevates the experience.

The Seoul Dynasty are, by the looks of it, the second best team in their region, although the gap between them and Shanghai isn't particularly great. In fact, the gap shrinks and widens on a weekly basis. They're basically taking turns at beating each other so it's always a toss-up. The Fusion, too, have shown signs of life — and also pushed Seoul to the brink of defeat — so betting on this particular clash may well end up coming back to bite us. We'll find out soon enough.

Seoul *have* been ever so slightly more consistent, and if they can huddle up and execute (similarly to what they did back on Friday) they should, by all means, be able to come out on top. It's not going to be easy though — they have quite a few flaws and exploitable weaknesses. The only reason we're giving them the benefit of the doubt here is because we don't feel like the Fusion have what it takes to exploit said flaws and chinks in their armor.

They're not far off, though, so proceed with caution.
