Team Liquid vs 100 Thieves

This is where things get really interesting. Heck, we're putting it mildly here! 100 Thieves taking on Team Liquid is in every way, shape, and form, a premier match-up, and is more than worthy of your undivided time and attention!

We're talking about a clash between two spectacular line-ups, both of which have all the right tools to go deep and leave a mark in the grand scheme of things. Team Liquid have obviously done a lot more over the years to warrant our benefit of the doubt, but they haven't been all that impressive lately, in no small part because of the whole Alphari debacle. Now, Jenkins has been performing way above expectations, but TL are no longer as dangerous or commanding as was the case back in Spring. They're not bad per se, but they lack that extra bit of something that garnered them so much success and admiration just a couple of months ago. Against the many bottom-dwellers they're still fairly commanding, but whenever they face off against one of the few LCS top-tier challengers, they tend to fumble and fail in a myriad of different ways.

100 Thieves, on the other hand, have been looking mighty dangerous ever since they brought over Abbedagge and Reapered, and are basically a shoo-in for the LCS finals if they continue playing at such an incredibly high level. If they draft to their strengths and give their most important players enough agency they should, by all means, be able to get the "W" against TL tonight. That said, it will not be an easy fight, and the Thieves are definitely prone to making mind-boggling decisions and throwing their leads on a whim. They're far from a consistent performer, but their highs have been a lot more impressive lately, so we'll side with them on this one. Team Liquid would generally be the more logical choice, but it feels like an "upset" is in the cards here, so we'll side with the underdogs on this one and hope for the best!
