Top Esports vs FlyQuest
Yet another one-sided shellacking. The entire day is composed of them, it seems like, which shouldn't come as much of a surprise. After all, Top Esports and DRX have been favored to make it out of groups from the moment they were slotted in with FlyQuest and, subsequently, Unicorns of Love. They're two exceptional teams in every regard and there's very little that FlyQuest and UoL can do to challenge them.
Granted, if they overperform and punch way above their weight class, they might stand a chance of making things somewhat competitive, but that's still an optimistic stretch that veers into the realm of fiction. FlyQuest is not a one-dimensional team, nor are they untalented. In fact, it's quite the opposite. They're one of the better and more creative challengers who have come from the North American region, and the fact that they've failed to accomplish much at Worlds in no way diminishes this fact. Their mid laner and jungler alone push this team into top-tier status, and the same holds for their bottom lane duo as well. They're all veterans but they've aged like fine wine, unlike the vast majority of their region.
They do have Solo in the top lane who, while definitely talented, obviously isn't good enough to compete at the Worlds stage. He's a sore point and FlyQuest's biggest weakness, but even if he delivers and is put on something more supportive like Shen or perhaps an engage pick like Malphite, FlyQuest will still face an uphill battle (or an unwinnable one, rather) seeing how they're up against one of the best teams we've *ever* seen. That's quite high praise, but they've definitely earned it.
If they don't underestimate FlyQuest they should, without a doubt, be able to get the win in relatively clean and dominant fashion.
