Washington Justice vs Boston Uprising

Much like the game preceding it, Washington Justice vs. Boston Uprising has "foregone conclusion" written all over it -- and we don't mind one bit. Closely contested match-ups are fun to watch and observe from afar, but they're a nightmare to bet on. Clashes like these, on the other hand, fail to generate much interest but are, as a result, a lot easier to predict.

That holds true for WAS vs. BOS as well. It might not be the biggest mismatch one can imagine, but a mismatch it certainly is. The gap between them is concrete and seemingly insurmountable, although it's fair to say that Boston have been a lot more dangerous and capable than any of us had expected coming into 2022. They're still a bottom-dweller, mind you, but are by no means to be underestimated which, frankly, is a triumph in itself given everyone's pre-season expectations.

The Washington Justice, however, are a cut above, and that gap between them cannot be narrowed in a few weeks' time. They hold wins over the Paris Eternal, the Atlanta Reign, and the Toronto Defiant, with their sole defeat coming at the hands of the Dallas Fuel. And that, in short, is a very impressive record for a team most folks thought would be "middle of the pack." They're not only *not* a mid-tier gatekeeper but are, instead, a very dangerous challenger, one who will, by all means, tango with the very best teams the Overwatch League has to offer.

There's a metric ton of potential under their banner and if they keep the course they'll no doubt be able to solidify their position as one of the most competent contenders in 2022. The Boston Uprising, while definitely capable in their own right, simply aren't good enough to compete on even footing.
